The Gingolx Economic Development department’s goal is to support economic self-sufficiency and prosperity in our community. As well, our department is the liaison point for industry leaders and contractors who are looking to do business with the Gingolx community.
Programs for Entrepreneurs
Starting a business can be a daunting proposition, but also exciting. Anyone starting and running a business needs a network of support, and we are here to provide that.

Support locating and applying for grants for new and existing businesses

Financial support to help entrepreneurs with start-up costs (such as legal fees, business registration fees, etc.)

Consulting and coaching for current businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs
We also liaison with other agencies working in the economic development field, such as the Nisga’a Lisims Government, Community Futures, Gingolx Enterprises, Ltd., and the Tribal Resource Investment Corporation (Tricorp), and can help Gingolx members access their programs and opportunities.
