Personnel Department

The finance department is the department that holds and ties every program together. This department deals with Nisga'a Lisims Government, who have the authority over all funds that are issued to the Village Government and their programs.

Esther Stevens: Finance Employee / Ext.# 227

Duties:

  • To ensure that Financial Reports of all programs are balanced out and made for public use.
  • Reports are made for every department under Gingolx Village Government.
  • Books are kept in top order for purpose of more funding requirements in the future for programs like housing, education and other department that are under GVG.
  • Records all active fund use and reviews the book balance for the year and is the Head Signing Officer.

 

 

 

Christine Barton: Ext.# 225

Payroll

Duties: Maintains the payroll for GVG employees in all departments. Keeps the records of employment. records all info of purchases made in all departments.

Colette Moore: Ext.# 226

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Duties: Pays all the GVG bills for purchases made for administration. Filling in for payroll and purchase order person when needed. Sending invoices to those that use GVG equipment, record daily intake for housing and equpiment
